Overview ASVAB

Congratulations!!! You have opened the door to see if you qualify for entry into the U.S. Armed Services. The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is ASVAB. ASVAB is a standardized test given by all military service branches that reveals areas of strength and weakness in math, arithmetic, general science and language. ASVAB scores also determine what types of military job sets you will be qualified.

Many will ask, is the ASVAB test difficult. That will depend on your ability to prepare proactively. ASVAB is not an easy test but the ASVAB is not unreasonably difficult. It all depend on you selecting the right guide books, internet training or seeking a service that has experience and will guide you step by step.

ASVAB entry scores vary. The Marines (31), Army (31), Air Force (31), Navy (31), Coast Guard (40). Your line scores are calculated by MEPS as they will correspond to specific job selections based on your testing skills.

Personal Development

So, where do I start? You really need to decide initially if the advantages of joining the military are right for you. Is there a history of family in the military, friends, and colleagues.

Do I qualify or have interest in the Marines, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard or Space Force.

Each branch offers significant opportunities and benefits. Most common benefits include a monthly income, possible enlistment bonus, housing, healthcare, education (college), travel, transportation, pension, job training and vacation. The initial step is to meet with an armed services recruiter. They will educate you on the advantages and opportunities of that specific branch.

Learning Overview Availability

Our main objective is to prepare you for successfully passing the ASVAB on the first attempt. Training should be at least 4-6 weeks and 1-2 weeks before testing date. You will find there are many ways to prepare for the ASVAB.

You will have the option of learning from the traditional ASVAB guide books and or our recommended internet training site. There are nine sub tests with ASVAP. They include General Science, Math Knowledge, Arithmetic Reasoning, Paragraph Comprehension, Electronic Information, Auto & Shop Information & Mathematics Knowledge.

Our recommended online course includes all of the (9) sub tests, AFQT training, ASVAB study guides, video’s, flash cards, weekly quizzes and tests. There is limited availability for acceptance into the training program. Upon acceptance into the program you will be provided a course curriculum that’s details weekly tasks and objectives. Each week our goal is to see significant improvement. There will be a full ASVAB final test at the conclusion of your training. You will have access to your coach but the commitment to succeed will be based on your effort and determination.

Testimonial

"My Marine recruiter recently arranged for me to take the high school version of the ASVAB and the home version of the AFQT. I was quite sure I would do well based on taking various quizzes and tests from recommended ASVAB guide books. Much to my surprise I scored, in my opinion poorly with a 42 and 46. The minimum score required for the Marines is 31. I realized that I needed to step up my game very quickly.

I enrolled in the ASVAB Learning Academy’s recommended online program which was affordable, very educational and fun. I was monitored, coached and tested on a weekly basis. I took the ASVAB at my recruiter’s office last week and scored a 60 which is above average. My recruiter and I were quite excited as this places me in a very good position for job selections at MEPS. I would recommend the services of the ASVAB Learning Academy as they accomplished my goal of achieving very good results in a short period of time. I could not have done this without your guidance. Thank You."
